Globe Broken 2022

A ceramic globe created as a adjunct to Globe Fragile. This globe was broken in a similar way but left in 64 pieces. Inspiration was taken from Cornelia Parker’s 30 Pieces of Silver installation. Each piece was suspended 20cm above the ground by multiple strands of jewellery wire, 3m in length, suspended from a mesh frame hung from the ceiling.

It symbolises the moment we are in as impact of the climate disaster becomes apparent.
