Snake 2022

An exercise in using ‘Found Objects’. The chains were recovered from a shipwreck by a Cornish diving company and the copper wire came from a broken microwave. The muscular shape of the chain links induces a feeling of the sinuous nature of a snake.

The snake skin was crocheted from copper wire to the shape and length of the chainIt was crocheted in a loose pattern to simulate snake skin.
